Public Art Project: Bethesda Park
Budget: Approximately $90,000.00 USD
Eligibility: Artists or Artist Teams residing in the United States
DEADLINE: Monday, December 1, 2025, 11:59 P.M. MST

Denver Public Art seeks to commission one artist or artist teams to create public artworks for Bethesda Park, which will be one of Denver’s newest parks in the Denver Parks and Recreation system. The goal of the project is to commission a series of artworks that celebrate the history and culture of the area and its landmarks, highlights the neighborhood’s connection to nature and the environment, and emphasizes the importance of the community’s health and wellbeing.

The commission amount for an artist or artist team is $90,000.00 USD.

A selection panel of community representatives, arts and culture professionals and civic leaders has been assembled to identify art opportunities and to select and recommend an artist or artist team for this project. The panel is seeking artists who work in mediums suitable for exterior spaces, and that can creatively tell the story of the park and neighborhood through a series of artworks.
