Raising Handmade Timber Frame Roof

Описание: After months of preparations the roof is finally ready to be raised!

All the beams were pulled up to the roof using the old wall plates and ropes, without any cranes or machines. Most of the carpentry was done on site. The whole structure is held together without any nails or fastener plates, with the exception of big forged nails securing the rafters to the wall plate.

The whole roof was done in two days, in a team of four guys, big thanks to all involved 💪
