In this video we are continuing on with our BIBLE STUDY WITH ME series going through the books of 1 & 2 Peter! 1 Peter is a letter written by the apostle Peter, a disciple of Jesus and key leader in the early Christian church, to several churches in Asia minor to encourage them in the suffering they were enduring under the Roman Empire. 1 Peter 2 calls us to grow into maturity in our faith through sanctification by God's Word, our identity as God's chosen people, what it looks like to submit to authority biblically, and also what it means to suffer for the right reasons (because it is possible to suffer for wrong ones).
