Boeing 747 is it still the queen of the skies? Today we are at Frankfurt Airport in Germany to find out by taking a flight on a 747 over to Bengaluru in India. The boeing 747-400 that we are taking over to India today is operated by Lufthansa. Lufthansa is one of the few operators in the world that are still operating a lot of these 747 & lufthansa is set to continue to operate the 747 for many years yet. so while others are scrapping them is Lufthansa right? is the 747 still worthy of being called the queen of the sky or is Lufthansa wrong?
On this flight from Frankfurt to Benglauru I will try to find out if Lufthansa is right and if the 747 is still the queen of the sky. This video is also the first flight we have made outside of Europe, so i do think it is fitting that we are taking this flight on a Boeing 747.
