The digital transformation and synchronization of PSM artefacts in collaboration networks
In collaborative networks of product development projects with multiple partners (customers, suppliers, departments, sites), synchronization of project management disciplines is also a key to success in the overall digital transformation.
While today numerous isolated solutions for the exchange of information between partners lead to time-consuming processes and defective data, the definition of digital interfaces and technologies promises improvements for all parties involved, including in schedule management, especially because of the high project dynamics in complex product lifecycle processes.
The project group "PSM - Project Schedule Management" focuses on defining the processes, methods, and interfaces for synchronizing the schedule management for all companies working with waterfall, agile or hybrid project approaches. The Mars Rover project serves here as a reference for such PSM synchronization.
