We kicked off the season by cruising the Rideau Canal in Ottawa on its opening day, January 12, 2025. The canal was buzzing with skaters, creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere! Later, we explored Downtown Ottawa's ByWard Market and crossed over to Gatineau, driving across a few scenic bridges. The winter weather was unseasonably warm, making it the perfect day for an outdoor adventure!
