In this tutorial 2D Traditional Animator Wayne Carlisi teaches us how to apply anticipation in your animation. Anticipation is one of the 12 principles of animation that every animator should learn. It is the preparation for action. For example, if a character is going to jump he or she will squash down before pushing his body and legs up to jump. The more we push the anticipation the more fluid and cartoony the animation will look, but the less anticipation we apply the more stiff the animation will look. Then, be sure to apply this principle of animation if you want your animation to look fluid.
"1 on 1 Animation" are courses emphasizing on traditional animation techniques to teach the required foundation of all forms of animation, traditional, CG, and stop motion. Students of all levels can gain a career or hobby in animation.
