Gaye has dedicated decades to giving back to her community in countless ways. From her roles as a teacher and school bus driver, to driving community vans for Red Cross and Hato Hone St John, she has always been there to support others. She has also served on the Red Cross disaster welfare team and lent her cooking skills to the Koha Pantry. These days, Gaye continues her incredible service through her work with Ruahine Animal Rescue. Her selfless commitment and deep desire to help others shines through everything she does, always finding a way to pay it forward.

In recognition of her endless drive to help others, ASB is proud to award Gaye $10,000 as this week’s ASB Good as Gold recipient.
