Описание: → Join me onboard the affectionately named "Long-Dong Express" as United bumps up capacity into Phoenix for the winter by flying the longest single-aisle airliner — the Boeing 757-300 — daily between Chicago and Phoenix! I saw this flight added to the flight schedule a few months prior and just knew I had to get on it! Everything came together that day for me to hop on it and have practically the entire aft portion of the cabin to myself. I was originally cleared into seat 32F so the wing would not obscure as much of the view, but due to weight and balance, I was moved forward to 28F. This was part two of a big trip trying to see where United would forget to load my small checked bag. See below for the full routing! Spoiler alert — it made it on each and every one of my flights despite trekking across the country a few times, so, well done, United! We begin this full flight at O'Craps' gate C9 and push back, then quickly head to runway 27L for departure to the west. Speaking directly to the rocketship this aircraft is, we blast off skyward and begin our vectors direct PEKUE, heading out over the rest of Illinois, then cruising over the chin of Iowa (seriously, go look at a map and tell me Iowa doesn't look like a face :) ), the top bit of Missouri, then the entire state of Kansas, a bit of Colorado, then New Mexico before initializing our final descent on the EAGUL6 over Arizona and landing soon after in a gusty PHX on runway 26.
