Coming from mixed Japanese-Australian descent, he moved to Japan to grow his brand, connect with his roots and immerse himself amongst other craftsmen, artists and designers.
But it wasn't without its speedbumps…

We sat down with Kai and toured his studio to understand how he’s accomplished so much at a young age, and where he hopes to go next.

A quick note. Since filming this video, Kai has decided to move back to Australia. However, he plans to move back to Japan in the near future!
