In this video, I walk through how I used Rhino and GridfinityGenerator.com to design a custom-cut insert for organizing my wrenches in a Gridfinity bin, perfect for the X-Carve workspace. It is a two-part piece where the main wrenches go on the top bin and additional wrenches that are rarely used live in the bin below it. I show my process from modeling to final print, and share what worked—and what didn’t. The big takeaway? Measuring odd-shaped tools like wrenches can be tricky. Next time, I’ll be placing them on a cutting mat with a built-in grid to nail the overall dimensions. Still, the result turned out pretty solid—check it out and let me know how you’d improve it!
