Batman Who Laughs is a version of Batman from Earth negative 22 who finally succumbed to being evil and twisted and with a genius like that going rogue the world soon comes to an end. Created by Scott Snyder and artist Greg Capullo the character made his debut in “Dark Days: The Casting” and played a crucial role in the Dark Nights metal event. The character’s name was influenced by two silent films “The Bat Whispers” in 1930 and “The Man Who Laughs” released in 1928.
