As per the latest news coming from Times Now, In the Umesh Pal Murder case, Gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and two others were sentenced to life imprisonment on Tuesday in 2006. Atiq Ahmed is being shifted to Gujarat's Sabarmati Jail. The Gangster turned politician likely to move High- Court. As per the sources, Khan S Hanif was convicted in 2005, in the case said "The court has pronounced its verdict we will now move to the higher court. He also mentions that the allegations against us are false."
