Описание: Hi Folks! Our day 2 was magnificent!

Keeping up with the good touristy vibes we received from Banff Town on our first day, we decided to celebrate our day 2 by hiking through the Johnston Canyon. Carved steeply into the limestone bedrock by thousands of years of water erosion, the dramatic Johnston Canyon is a breathtaking natural attraction in Banff National Park. Overhanging canyon walls, waterfalls, the deep pools of Johnston Creek, and lush forest left us with a memorable impression.

Our next stop was Lake Minnewanka. Lake Minnewanka is a glacial lake located in the eastern area of Banff National Park. After our initial struggle to find the parking spot, we decided to beat the heat by taking a dip in this turquoise blue lake. The dip totally refreshed us and brought in the new energy. We decided to explore the lake further. On our rescue was the Lake Minnewanka scenic boat cruise ride. Pro-tip: book the cruise ride in advance as it is more often than not sold out. While returning from Lake Minnewanka we saw a group of Elks in their natural habitat. This totally blown us away as this was something we didn't expect to see.

We completed our day by having dinner at a nearby coal town named Canmore. It is a beautiful small town located southeast of Banff town.
