Fisker Ocean - Waterproof Rear Bumper Connectors

Описание: Today I will remove the rear bumper to access wiring connectors that I need to waterproof. If there is corrosion in the connector, clean out with electrical cleaner and brass brush. If just wet, use canned air or air compressor to remove any moisture. Then wrap with silicone or butyl tape. Finish with wire loom tape. Extreme damage may require the replacement of the connector or direct wire. Feel free to play at 1.25-1.5X.

With the cover off, if you have a hitch receiver, check the torque on the 10 bolts: Hitch Bar: M10x35 bolts x10 uses 16mm socket, torque 62 Nm (46 ft-lbs)

Fender Cladding: M4x15 screws x6 (each side), uses 8mm socket, torque 2.2 Nm (1.6 ft-lbs)
Bumper Cover: M6x20 bolts x4, uses 10mm socket, torque 3.5 Nm (2.6 ft-lbs)
