Keeping bread fresh and preserved is very difficult. Bread once exposed to the environment tends to dehydrate and dry out. It should generally be bought and consumed within a short period of time.
With Vacuum gas technology and ILPRA solutions, you can increase the shelf life of baked products and reduce food waste. In this case, the FormPack Speedyform was the ideal solution for one of our customers, whose goal was to preserve homemade sourdough bread. In addition, the fully emetic packaging facilitates transport without damaging the product (no breadcrumbs outside the package for example).
This model is a compact entry-level solution suitable not only for packaging food products but also medical ones.
