Subaru is slashing prices on the Solterra for the 2025 model year! The starting price now sits at $39,915, which is a hefty $6,500 drop from last year. And that’s not all—Subaru’s introducing a new Onyx Edition trim with sleek, blacked-out details and premium touches. This version, based on the top-tier Touring trim, is priced at $46,915.

The new Onyx Edition spices things up with black accents on the roof pillars, door frames, badges, spoiler, and those sharp-looking 20-inch wheels. Plus, you get some cool two-tone exterior options and a sleek black interior to match.

So, how’s the Solterra doing out there? Subaru has sold 10,215 units of the Solterra so far this year—slightly behind Toyota’s bZ4X at 14,978 units. But with these new price cuts, Subaru is aiming to close that gap and go head-to-head with the big players like the Ford Mustang Mach-E and Volkswagen ID.4. Subaru says the 2025 models will hit dealerships early next year, so keep your eyes peeled if you’re shopping for an EV!
