Basic Rights Education Fund: Racial Justice and Alliance Building

Описание: Since its founding in 1999, Basic Rights Education Fund (BREF) has strived to end discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity and to build community through education and advocacy. Through its support of racial justice, alliance building, youth organizing, transgender justice, and marriage equality education throughout the state, BREF has built a diverse coalition to create real change in Oregon.

Basic Rights Education Fund is a formidable force in the state made up of LGBT folks, straight allies, rural and urban Oregonians, business leaders, clergy, elected officials, educators, parents; and coalition partners in labor, healthcare, reproductive choice, civil liberties and racial justice organizations. BREF is a grantee of the Gill Foundation.
