THEME:
A. Surah Al-Anbiya (The Prophets) - Verses 1-112
Warning of Approaching Judgment: The Para begins by warning mankind that the Day of Reckoning is near, yet people remain in a state of heedlessness.
Reality of Prophethood: It addresses the objections of the Makkans who doubted that a human being could be a Prophet. It clarifies that all Prophets were human, ate food, and lived among people.
Stories of Prophets: It highlights the struggles, patience, and eventual success of various Prophets (including Ibrahim, Musa, Harun, Lut, Nuh, Dawud, Sulayman, Ayyub, and Yunus AS), showing that they all faced trials but were ultimately supported by Allah.
Tawhid (Monotheism): It emphasizes that all prophets brought the same message: "There is no deity except Me, so worship Me" (21:25).
Purpose of Creation: It explains that the heavens and earth were not created in sport or for a frivolous purpose.
B. Surah Al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage)
The Hour and Resurrection: The Surah starts with a vivid, terrifying description of the Day of Judgment (Earthquake of the Hour) and provides evidence for resurrection through the stages of human creation and the revival of dead earth by rain.
Significance of Hajj: It explains the purpose behind Hajj rituals, such as circling the Kaaba and sacrificing animals, emphasizing that it is piety (Taqwa) that reaches Allah, not the meat or blood.
Permission to Fight Back: It grants permission to Muslims to defend themselves against those who oppress and persecute them, establishing rules for justifiable struggle.
Worship and Submission: It emphasizes the core of faith—prostration and obedience to Allah—and advises staying away from false gods.
Call to Unity: It highlights the Muslim Ummah as a chosen community and urges them to uphold the faith of their forefather Ibrahim (AS).
