"All By Myself" was written by Eric Carmen for his 1975 self-titled debut album.

It is based on Sergei Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, and a few bars of the second movement (Adagio sostenuto) appear in the song.

Céline Dion recorded her cover of the song for her 1996 album "Falling into You".
It became one of her biggest international hit singles.

"All By Myself" is a fantastic power ballad, and sounds wonderful on piano!
