Growing up on his own, Ezra Bridger relied on his street smarts – and subconscious Force abilities – to survive on Lothal. That changed when he met the Ghost crew; Ezra came to believe in their cause, and with the help of Kanan, began to learn the ways of the Jedi, using his custom Lightsaber to undermine the Empire and inspire the rebels. Ezra's parents were taken away by the Empire for speaking out against it when he was 7 years old. Since then, he has become a thief and con artist, and was called a street rat by many who knew him. This lifestyle changed when he met and joined the crew of The Ghost, all whom of which he befriended and fought for freedom along with them. One of the members, a Jedi named Kanan, saw that Ezra was Force-sensitive and began training him in the ways of The Force. Ezra has been through multiple tests and trials, and even built his own lightsaber with a built-in blaster. Ezra fights using his custom lightsaber. He has some Force abilities, but players have to play as him for a while before they can unlock them on his skill tree.

Sabine Wren has explosive talents for art and demolitions alike, and she won’t hesitate to use them against the Empire. She can stealthily approach and sabotage the enemy or stand alongside her rebel allies to lend her twin blasters to the cause. At the end of the Clone Wars, before joining the Rebels, Sabine became a cadet at the Imperial Academy on Mandalore. She believed in the cause of the Empire, and blindly followed its orders until her family was negatively affected by it. Having seen its true nature, Sabine abandoned not only the Empire, but also her family. At age 16, she first joined the Rebel cause. She has since served them on board the Ghost, the ship of Hera Syndulla. Wherever the crew has a mission, she likes to mark where they have been by painting the symbol of the Rebel Alliance and planting an explosive paint bomb at the scene.
