I remember a fic I read a long time ago where the meanings of flowers were a prevalent theme throughout. I suppose it depends on who's receiving the flowers that make the meaning, well, meaningful. Yellow roses are allegedly a more melancholy flower, but if someone likes yellow roses, does that matter?
