Echo conducted search-and-destroy operations against hostile strongholds and patrols in the valley north of COP ROCCO, an effort intended to pave the way for a new autonomous TNA outpost. This mission was designed to showcase the Tagabistan army's newfound operational independence and reclaim territorial control from jihadist elements following their training with NATO instructors.
I was the machine gun team leader of Echo's Red team as ER1.
