Do millionaires in the millennial and boomer generations invest differently?

Yes, there is a noticeable difference.

According to a recent survey, 83% of millennial millionaires own cryptocurrency. The majority of them actually have at least 50% of their money in cryptocurrencies.

Only 4% of boomer millionaires reported owning cryptocurrencies, which is a substantial departure from the type of investing approach used by the majority of investors today.

Bonds and diversified passive index funds like the S&P 500 are increasingly frequently included in the portfolios of baby boomer millionaires.

One thing that never changes, however, is that the majority of boomer millionaires and millennials are altering their lifestyles in reaction to the high rates of inflation we are currently seeing.

However, it appears that millennial millionaires are making even greater cuts than baby boomers.

In addition to postponing their mimosa brunches and trips to Tulum, many of the millennial millionaires are also putting off buying a new house.

Still, compared to baby boomers, these new-money millennials are more optimistic about the US economy.

The majority of millionaire millennials predict that the economy will be stronger by the end of the year, in contrast to the majority of boomers who predict that the economy will be weaker and that inflation would continue to be an issue for years.
