There was a time when the world felt slower — not because life was easier, but because it was rooted in something firm.
Ways of living that asked for patience.
For responsibility.
For belonging.
Much of that world is gone now.
We often say we miss “the old days,” yet we hesitate to embrace the beliefs, sacrifices, and commitments that once sustained them. We long for the atmosphere, but not always the foundations that made it possible.
These pieces were born from that tension.
Acoustic guitar at the center, drawn from my own improvisations, unfolding into Celtic textures that feel older than us — not as nostalgia for the past, but as a quiet question:
What exactly are we longing for?
Perhaps what we miss is not a time, but a way of standing in the world.
