Buc-ee’s Expands to 7 States, Files Federal Lawsuit

Описание: The Buc-ee’s beaver is on the move. The Texas-based travel center giant is expanding into at least seven new states, including Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, pushing further across the South and Midwest.

At the same time, Buc-ee’s is heading to federal court in Ohio, suing the Mickey’s convenience store chain over claims its moose logo is too similar to the iconic beaver trademark.

The lawsuit argues the branding similarities could confuse customers. Buc-ee’s says it must aggressively defend its intellectual property as it continues rapid national growth.
