A few things to consider (from an RD):
✨ Protein at every meal for muscle, metabolism, blood sugar, and satiety (3-5 oz)
✨ Healthy fats, especially Omega 3s (1,000-2,000 mg/day)
✨ Fiber rich carbs for gut health, estrogen metabolism, cholesterol, energy and blood sugar balance (1/2 cup 2x/day)
✨ Minerals matter - Magnesium, potassium, and calcium support sleep, muscle function, and bone health.
✨ Don’t sleep on Antioxidants - for inflammation, skin health, and overall cellular support. (eat variety, 30 plants a week)
Fill your plate with these items instead of added sugars, alcohol and calorie restriction. Fueling with what your body actually needs will help you feel strong, balanced, and supported during this transition.
