Soft and tasty homemade Idli - Super-soft Idli recipe - इतनी मज़ेदार इडली की रोज़ नाश्ते में बनाएंगे
Ingredients:
Idli rice – 1 and half cup
Urad daal – half cup
Methi seeds – half tsp
Baking soda – a pinch
Salt as per taste
Method:
Soak rice daal and methi seeds for at least 8 hours or overnight. Grind it to smooth paste and pour in metal container. Keep it for fermentation for at least 6 to 8 hours or overnight. Now add salt and baking soda. Mix well. Grease idli mold first with water and then with oil. Pour idli batter and steam for 7 to 8 minutes. Once done remove from flame. And let it cool for at least 5 minutes then unmold it with the help of steel spoon. Serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
