Its was very quiet at the khe sanh museum and seeing all the Vietnam War history there was a real eye opener.
It took a couple of hours the get to the DMZ from Hue.

Join us in our first travel vlog adventure post COVID!
Australia (and Victoria in particular) had some stringent lock downs and we couldn't head overseas for nearly three years. Thanks Dan (IYNYN).
On this trip, we (with bonus guest Buster) spent three weeks slow travelling through the south of Vietnam.
Exploring both places we have visited before as well as some new favorite destinations!
The newest discovery, however, was airport lounge passes!
Highly recommend!!
Ho Chi Minh City / Saigon was a blast to rediscover with highlights of the War Remnants Museum and Bui Vien for the nightlife.
Hue/Da Nang/Hoi An were new discoveries and they boasted some killer touristy trap attractions but were well worth the crowds.
Sun World, Marble Mountains and a tour of the DMZ did not disappoint.
Then off to Phu Quoc for some much needed relaxation and chill time.
