The Huff family farms on extremely challenging soil in southern Michigan. With sandy, coarse, low CEC, low organic matter soils, they were struggling to find an approach that worked. After meeting his local Maximum Farming System Associate and moving away from the conventional approach, Kyle Huff won NCGA's Michigan no-till irrigated corn yield competition in 2017 with 296 bushels per acre.
By implementing the System, he has learned what his crops truly need and how to make it available to them.
