Plot Summary
"Chand Aur Suraj" (transl. The Moon and the Sun) revolves around Chanderprakash, a middle-class worker who faces a series of unfortunate events. After being falsely accused of theft and subsequently fired, he leaves for a business trip, only to be found dead in an accident. His family, including his wife Kamla and son Munna, receive a substantial insurance payout following his death. This sudden wealth leads to drastic changes in their lives, with each family member taking a different path:
Suraj, Chander's brother, abandons his medical aspirations and succumbs to gambling and alcohol.
Kamla begins an affair with another man, further complicating the family's dynamics.
