A look back to the 2025 IOR webinar on PED. Speakers David Paget and Simon Emeny focused on the impact of the PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) and the opportunities we may have for improvement and the potential for modification now the UK is independent of EU legislation and has to consider the most appropriate mechanism for its needs.
David and Simon looked at how the PED and Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations apply in the UK for imports, equipment and installations. They also referenced useful guidance documentation and talked through an example of compliance for A2L flammable refrigerants.
