The Bhakti movement was started in South India. It didn't restrict anyone from joining it and promoted values like love of god, humanity, compassion and unity in the people's language.

Notable sants of the Bhakti Movement include , Sant Kabir, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Shankardeva, Narsi Mehta, Sant Mirabai, Sant Tulsidas, Sant Raskhan, Mahatma Basaveshwar, Sant Namdev and Sant Eknath.

The Mahanubhav Panth: It was founded in Maharashtra by Chakradhar Swami. The people in this sect practise complete devotion to Lord Krishna.

Guru Nanak: Guru Nanak was the founder of Sikhism, the world's fifth largest organised religion with more than 100 million Sikh followers. He preached of humanity and Hindu Muslim Unity.

The Sufi Sect: The sufi sect is a Muslim sect which teaches that the only way to reach god is through love and devotion.
