The Fall 2026 Ready-to-Wear collection by Akris, designed by Albert Kriemler, was presented during Paris Fashion Week and developed in collaboration with Colombian textile artist Olga de Amaral. The runway took place at the Palais de Tokyo and featured a set design incorporating a curtain of golden beads.

The collection introduced gold and gilded surface treatments, reflecting de Amaral’s textile works, which often incorporate gold and silver leaf. This influence extended to several evening gowns and embellished garments.

The color palette was derived from the artist’s paintings and included gold, shocking pink, strong red, and kelly green. These colors appeared across garments such as double-face coats, leather skirts, blousons, and knit sweaters.

Materials and textures played a central role in the collection, with pieces including shearling coats, leather jackets, structured black tailoring, and garments decorated with knotted fringe and tile-like embroidery inspired by textile techniques.
