The BRM P160 was a Formula One racing car designed by Tony Southgate for the British Racing Motors team, which raced in the 1971, 1972, 1973 and 1974 Formula One seasons. It was powered by a 3.0-litre V12 engine.
The P160 made its debut at the 1971 South African Grand Prix, but only one was entered for Pedro Rodríguez which retired with overheating. Switzerland's Jo Siffert drove the P153 in South Africa but drove the P160 for the rest of 1971.
The BRM P160B was an evolution of British Racing Motors' successful P160 Formula 1 car, known for its powerful BRM 3.0L V12 engine and distinctive design by Tony Southgate.
It got famously driven by Jean-Pierre Beltoise to a legendary wet-weather victory at the 1972 Monaco Grand Prix—BRM's last F1 win—featuring updated bodywork over its P160 predecessor, running in the early 1970s F1 seasons with Marlboro sponsorship.
BRM soldiered on with the P160 well into the 1974 season with no success of note.
