Requirements:
Materials
• Burette
• Pipette
• Colorimeter
• Test Tube Stand
• Test Tubes

Chemicals
• Glacial acetic acid
• Ferric chloride
• Sulphuric acid
• Cholesterol standard

Reagents
Standard Cholesterol: About 200 mg/dl of cholesterol was dissolved and made up to 100 ml with acid (take 200 mg cholesterol dissolve in 100 ml Acetic Acid).
Procedure
Take 0.1 ml standard cholesterol, add 3 ml ferric chloride and add 2 ml concentrative H2SO4 and take 0.1 ml sample, add 3 ml ferric chloride, add 2 ml concentration H2SO4
