Exploring the Beautiful Chaudas Valley | Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand | Near Nepal Border | Narayan Ashram
I recently went to explore the breathtaking Chaudas Valley, a hidden Himalayan paradise located in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand, near the Nepal border. This valley is not only known for its natural beauty but also for its historical importance, as it used to be the main route for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra in the past.
Chaudas Valley is formed by 14 different villages, each surrounded by majestic mountains, rivers, and peaceful landscapes that make this place truly magical. During this 3-day journey, my goal was to experience the raw beauty of the Himalayas and do a short hike around the valley while exploring its culture and nature.
One of the most famous places in the valley is Narayan Ashram, which is considered the main hotspot of Chaudas Valley. This peaceful and spiritual place offers stunning views of the Himalayas and attracts travelers, trekkers, and pilgrims from different parts of India.
This trip was full of adventure, mountain views, village life, and Himalayan vibes. If you love offbeat travel, trekking, and exploring untouched valleys of Uttarakhand, Chaudas Valley should definitely be on your list.
