Runway DFW's final UPS MD-11 takeoff: Oct. 31, 2025

Описание: Four days before the fatal crash of a UPS MD-11 in Louisville, Runway DFW captured what has sadly become our final recording of a UPS trijet in action.

We saw UPS Flight 767 (N254UP) taking off from DFW International Airport Runway 17R on Halloween night — October 31, 2025. This aircraft, which started its aviation career in 1993 with Varig, was departing for the UPS Worldport in Louisville on that night.

According to records, it carried its final cargo for UPS on a flight from Louisville to Honolulu less than one week later, on November 6, when the delivery service grounded its fleet of MD-11s.

On January 27, 2026, UPS announced that it "accelerated its fleet modernization plans, completing the retirement of its MD-11 fleet during the fourth quarter of 2025."

So: No more trijets for UPS, and our October 31 live stream represents our final look at a brown-and-gold MD-11.
