Badgers are cool. Personally, I'm more of a honey badger man, but that could possibly be due to my sweet tooth and penchant for stubbornness. But, badgers are equally as important to the ecosystem, if not more so, respectfully, than their distant relatives in Africa. Badgers are mostly found in Europe, but are present in North America and other continents, so they've developed quite a name for themselves as international woodland mascots of the good times in life, and the mysterious nature of the wilderness as it maintains itself at the edge of civilization. I really like them mostly for their unique markings, which kind of remind me of Spider-Man or an orca. What can I say? I have a soft spot in my heart for things with unique markings...
