Our Fab-Cut team has now completed our 3rd retrofit upgrade of an Esab Avenger HD gantry package in Canada. This one has the German manufactured Eckelmann CNC controller operating a Kjellberg Q4500 hi-def plasma cutting system which can easily cut up to 4-3/4" mild steel. This retrofit has given new life to a 24 year old plasma cutting system and the cost to upgrade the whole package was a major savings compared with replacing it with a new system.
This gantry package is operating on a 10ft x 30ft water table and being used to cut parts for the stuctural steel industry.
Our team is just starting our 4th system and stay tuned to our channel as we prepare this next one with even more capabilies for the next customer.
