The Director-General of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), Ambassador Fernando Arias, and the Deputy Mayor for International Affairs of the City of The Hague, Ms Mariëlle Vavier, present the 2025 OPCW–The Hague Award to three recipients for their significant contributions to achieving a world free of chemical weapons.

29:02 Rear Admiral (Ret.) Torben Mikkelsen, acknowledged for his key operational role in UN-OPCW missions that removed chemical agents from Syria and Libya.
