40106 time on the SVR will shortly be coming to an end with the loco planned to return to Bury for maintenance and a repaint at some point in the near future under the guidance of it's custodians , the CFPS.
In recent times it visited for the October 2014 diesel gala before returning for its permanent stint in the back half of 2018 . It's bolier being an invaluable asset during the Autumn and Winter running days .
Footage shows the loco at a variety of locations along the line and all with it on full chat at some point . Filmed in 2014 and from 2019-2024.
