Searching long and hard for the brown trout of a lifetime! I definitely got one step closer to finding a true trophy brown!
Fishing the Snake in the early winter.
Had an awesome time fishing during the beginning days of the season. Caught several river-sized browns, and one TANK to top them all. The water was clear and super cold, but the fish were still hungry. I hope this video helps anyone looking to fish in Idaho.
🎣 Gear Used:
– Rod: Luhr Jensen
– Reel: Okuma 3000 Avenger Spinning Reel
– Line: 10-pound Monofilament - clear
– Bait/Lures: Gulp minnow on a quarter/eighth-ounce jig head
