SP40109 (SP109) serving route 281 in Twickenham towards Tolworth.
Serving between Heath Road/Twickenham and Fulwell Station.
Operated by London United Busways at Fulwell (FW) depot for London Buses.
Note: This video was filmed in Autumn 2014 when Scania Omnicity's were allocated to Route 281 and was undergoing a refurbishment programme. At the time of recording, the interior retained the Transdev seat moquette from 2008. This bus was withdrawn in 2021 following the introduction of BYD
D8UR-DD/Enviro 400 City on Routes 65 and 281 which resulted in the bus being temporarily operated by Go North West for Bee Network in Manchester before being withdrawn from service. RATP Dev London Transit was sold to Firstbus London in February 2025 which included the transfer of the operation of Route 281 from RATP to First Group, at the same time this marked the end of London United Busways.
