NCTD 5006 Coaster Train

Last catch was the northbound NCTD Coaster here at West Ash Street. Nothing has changed here since I last filmed here about a year ago. This train was actually the last train headed northbound as they just ran the exact same train.

North County Transit District Coaster Passenger Train passes through the West Ash Street Railroad Crossing Northbound Departing Santa Fe Depot Union Station on the BNSF San Diego Subdivision Main Line in San Diego, California. This crossing is mixed install with the gated signals being an ATSF late 1970s installs with changes to its bells being a Safetran Mechanical Bell, lights being Safetran Incandescent Lights, and gates being older gates. The gateless signal is a BNSF early 2000s install with changes to its bell, lights, and brackets. The former left side signals were the same but didn’t have a gateless signal because thay were ripped out when the light rail was built. The MTS signals are MTS mid 2000s installs with changes to its gate.
