The 2nd generation of TT was launched in 2006 and is a vast improvement over its predecessor, whilst retaining the sleek and sporty shape that has made the TT one of the most sought after Coupes on the road. This is a superb 2007 example of one of my favorite model of TT - The raucous V6 powered 3.2 litre quattro which has the same powerplant as an R32 Golf with Quattro all-wheel drive and that sleek coupe body.

This particular car was owned by a TT owner club member and has a particularly nice specification which includes bright red coachwork and black, full leather interior, which is superbly well presented. It is in pretty much flawless condition and the mild modifications which have been carried out have been tastefully executed to enhance an already fantastic car. The 2nd generation TT improved on pretty much every aspect of the original, but still has that familiar TT look. The rear spoiler can be raised or lowered at the touch of a button which is a neat feature (and, let's be honest a bit of a pose) - It also raises at automatically at higher speeds to increase downforce and enhance high speed stability.
The TT is also guaranteed to raise a smile every time you drive it. With almost 250 horsepower in a compact coupe this TT performs superbly. 0-62 mph takes just 5.7 seconds and the TT is capable of 155 mph. But whilst those figures are nearly supercar quick, the running costs are comparatively modest with a combined fuel economy of 30mpg.

Our car has been mildly modified so may have a few gains on the above figures. It sounds as fast as it looks with a gorgeous V6 rasp from its twin, stainless-steel sports exhausts. This car has the superb 6 speed DSG transmission which is a conventional auto with the addition of paddles that are mounted on the steering column to allow manual changes at the flick of a switch. There are 6 well-chosen ratios and the box changes with a smoothness and precision which is among the best I have ever sampled. There is no doubt that the TT, as well as being stylish, is also a highly capable performance car. Whilst the straight line speed is superb, Even more impressive is the way this car handles. Our TT has Quattro all-wheel drive and ESP stability control which ensures the car remains sure footed in all weather conditions. The turn in is instant and the handling well-balanced whilst the sports steering wheel has a superbly tackle feel. Best of all, you don't even need to take your hands off the steering wheel to change gear. With its 6 speed paddle shift our TT is the perfect model for the keen driver. It is a surprisingly easy car to pilot, compared with other high-performance rivals. When you want to relax the TT is smooth and comfortable, and when you want it to be sporty it delivers.

It is also superbly comfortable. This model of TT has a notably wider cabin than the original and has better visibility. This 2007 car is a well equipped, and extremely stylish example which has a sports steering wheel and aluminium embellishment trim which is a key feature of the TT's stylish interior. The car has been fitted with an android head unit which allows you to stream music off your phone. The interior has a surprising amount of room up-front, even taller drivers will be able to find a perfect driving position in the TT. Space in the rear is a little more snug but there is ample room for 2 children in the back, and a reasonable sized boot to make the TT a fairly practical car for everyday use.
