Whenever we think about secret services, we might have the tendency of thinking that it's something of the modern world, but the ancients never stop to amaze us! On this video we will see all the information that period sources tell us about secret agents, spies and the like in ancient Rome!
Much of the sources tell us that the situation evolved through the centuries, so on this video I did my best to try and cover all differet itterations of ancient Roman 007s and how they operated. We will also discuss how various Roman emperors used these secret agents and how they trained them!
