ଯୀଶୁ ପୁଣି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ, “ଯଦି କେହି ମୋର ଅନୁସରଣ କରିବାକୁ ଗ୍ଭହୁଁଥାଏ, ତେବେ ତାହାକୁ ନିଜର ସମସ୍ତ କାମନା ତ୍ୟାଗ କରିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବ। ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ତାହାକୁ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିବା କ୍ରୁଶକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବାକୁ ହେବ, ଏବଂ ସେ ମୋର ଅନୁସରଣ କରିବ। (ଲୂକ ଲିଖିତ ସୁସମାଗ୍ଭର 9:23)
