Security implications of Afghanistan withdrawal will 'reverberate for years to come'

Описание: Sky News host James Morrow says there's increasing questions about how many of the Afghan refugees are legitimate and been vetted properly in the wake of the Afghanistan withdrawal.

"Did they actually work for the US, have they been cleared, vetted properly and how much of their family is going to be brought into the United States as well," Mr Morrow said.

Mr Morrow referenced an article by PJ Media which wrote of a migrant couple who allegedly sent funds to ISIS after being accepted into the US.

"Just as one small example this couple from Bangladesh came in and, as the commentators who wrote this article said, showed their gratitude to the United States sending thousands and thousands of dollars to ISIS," he said.

"The security implications of what's happened in Afghanistan are going to reverberate in America for years and years to come."
