The YJ1 Soil Mixer by Ellis Products is guaranteed to mix any combination of materials including sand, peat, wood shavings, soil; and your chemicals and fertilizers. The YJ1 will mix one cubic yard of material at a time up to 6 to 8 cubic yards per hour. The YJ1 is also easily attached to the Ellis Flat & Pot Filler. Also available is the YJ2, a two yard size mixer.

YJ1 Standard Unit – 3 HP/ 200V / Single Phase Motor Control.
This is a horticultural media designed mixer to mix no more than 28 lbs per cubic foot.

YJ1 AND YJ2 SPIRAL SOIL MIXERS
The YJ1 is a one yard Soil Mixer can mix a batch of potting soil in approximately 3 to 4 minutes. The unit can be offered as a 230 volt single phase or a 230 volt 3 phase. The electric motor is a standard c-faced 3 horse powered motor. You can easily mix materials including , bark, peat moss,sand,wood shavings , chemicals and fertilizers. This mixer can mix one cubit yard at a time and can easily mix from 6 to 8 yards per hour. The mixer has spiral agitation,has a quick mixing time,it is self cleaning,and can be fitted with tires and a tongue for moving in the field. Caster wheels are available and the unit can be fitted with a soil return , flat and pot filling attachment. The YJ2 Soil Mixer is of the same design with double the capacity. It can be offered in the same voltage single or three phase . These are proven and reliable mixers that have been manufactured by Mitchell Ellis since 1984.
